Snail Respiration
-Snails respirate through their gills which are located in the pallial cavity.
-They can breath in air through their skin which is permeable for water.
-The gills of a Snail, also known as ctenidia, are made up of a stem and then have feathery protrusions coming form them.
-The ctenidia are responsible for the gas exchange inside the snail.
-The way that snails breath is they lift the floor of the pallial cavity which takes air in and pushes it out.
-Some snails fill their pallial cavity with water and then absorb oxygen from it.
